CHROMATIN APPOINTS JON LEAFSTEDT AS GENERAL MANAGER

Brings 18 Years of Agribusiness Experience
Chicago, Illinois - Chromatin, Inc. announced today the appointment of Jon
Leafstedt as General Manager.
"The Board and Founders of Chromatin are pleased to have Jon join the Company to manage the day-to-day operations and business development of the Company," said Roger Ganser, Chairman of the Board of Chromatin. "Jon brings to Chromatin an eighteen year career in leadership positions in global agribusinesses and development-stage companies in plant biotechnology, crop protection chemicals, and animal health products sectors," added Ganser.
Chromatin is an agricultural biotechnology company developing its mini-chromosome technology for accelerated development and market launch of high-value products from genetically enhanced seeds for major crops. Leafstedt joins consultants Dr. Daphne Preuss and Dr. Greg Copenhaver, the inventors and Company's founders, and a team of scientists at Chromatin's Chicago and Champaign, Illinois facilities.
Prior to joining Chromatin, Leafstedt served as president of Phytodyne, Inc., a plant biotechnology company. He has significant experience in business development, strategy development, financial operations, and regulatory issues. He earned a B.S. from South Dakota State University and a MBA from the University of Iowa.
