Biotech and Agribusiness Leader Joins Chromatin, Inc. Board of Directors

John A. Greaves, Ph.D., Kemin Industries' Worldwide Director, Specialty Crop Improvement, Joins Board of Plant Science Company

CHICAGO, IL - March 25, 2010 - Today, Chromatin, Inc. announced the appointment of Dr. John A. Greaves, Ph.D., Worldwide Director, Specialty Crop Improvement at Kemin Industries, Inc., to the company's Board of Directors. The addition of Dr. Greaves will allow Chromatin to gain significant insight from his leadership in crop development and biotechnology operations, as the company readies itself for the production of products supporting the energy feedstock sector.

Dr. Greaves has over twenty-one years of agribusiness experience in the biotechnology industry. In his current role as the Worldwide Director, Specialty Crop Improvement at Kemin Industries, Inc., Dr. Greaves coordinates a global team of plant breeders, horticulturalists, analytical chemists and field agronomists with research programs located in the USA, China and India using plants to produce target molecules. Previously, Dr. Greaves has held several executive roles, including: President of Hy-Line International, President of Kemin Agri-Foods, North America, and Vice President of Research & Development for Kemin Industries, Inc. and Kemin Biotechnology, L.C. Upon completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Greaves spent eight years building a unique gene discovery and trait introgression program in corn as the Trait Breeding Manager at ICI Seeds.
